Welcome.
I am BethKaya. I am a creative consultant on a mission to connect myself and others with ideas on how they can be creative
with their own two hands. As a small child a series of important people guided me to realize within myself my personal purpose
here. I live it daily and with pure fervor. I grew up in a suburb of DC in the state of Maryland. Since I was a young child
I have always found art to be my easiest form of communicating, learning, healing and meditating. I currently attend the Fashion
Institute of Technology majoring in Jewelry Design and minoring in Liberal Arts. I hope to further my education after the
completion of my current field of studies and ascend classically trained to reach a status where I can learn as many techniques
to achieve my before mentioned goal. I have spent the majority of my life surrounded by creative forces in family, friends
and profession. Growing up my parents were a large influence on me. They were heavily involved with various musical and craft
ventures and still are. Outside of structured education I have consistently thirsted and sought new techniques and skills
to add to my knowledge. I began the program in Frederick, Maryland in a row house studio and now it's moved to NYC where I
hope to continue to grow within my community by vending at my local charity events, flea markets and donating to organizations
from campaigns I've coordinated.
