Mo2h began in a self funded art studio in the front room of a historic row house of downtown Frederick, MD. After equipping
the studio with a wide array of various supplies, I birthed a local program called My Own Two Hands. I featured uninhibiting
art projects designed for individuals within my community who were overcritical of themselves artistically, in an effort to
reconnect them with their creative self worth. The program also collected various art supplies and donated them to women and
children in half-way houses and domestic abuse shelters in Frederick, Maryland and Richmond, Virginia.
I also then moved
My Own Two Hands onto the World Wide Web.
In 2005, I moved to Westchester County, NY. I dedicate much of my time
to my studio in Westchester. I currently attend the Fashion Institute of Technology in the heart of Manhattan. MO2H is a growing
entity in the community of Fleetwood and has participated in numerous events. MO2H will continue to stick to the values based
on the principles that everyone is capable of communicating and creating artistically. If you have any interest in being a
part of MO2H’s campaign to bring art to a part of every person’s reality, please do not hesitate to contact me
and get involved. I cannot do it alone and I welcome any efforts.
I am currently very active concocting new and innovative plans for MO2H as I attend many galleries, lectures, museums, continue
my education and scour art publications for contacts and trends. I continue to accept commissions for custom-crafted
jewelry pieces, art works, and personalized gift-baskets by loyal clients that have followed my work. I remain very proud
and enthusiastic about MO2H and you can expect great things in the future.
My ideas and visions are firmly rooted, and I wish to continue the mission to bring creativity to everyone’s hands,
minds, and spirits. Thank You for your continued support throughout the years. Your word of mouth and support keeps me afloat
as I continue to serve you.
Thank You Again,
BethKaya
